I have long researched a possible reason as to why I was locked out of my own account, and it seems likely that there might be a problem with my email provider. Basically what happened is that the above-mentioned provider doesn't allow me to receive mails from Instagram, thus resulting in me not being able to verify my identity and in my account getting suspended or something like that.
